Is this a good idea or complete landfill crap?

A tape measure for your fridge, so you can label your preserved and frozen foods. It's a really nice design, at (maybe too) low of a price. And to be fair I often forget to label my stuff in the freezer. But wouldn't a pack of paper post-it notes do the same?
